Leather care and maintenance
Each leather is unique and requires special care to last a lifetime:
- Oiled Leather: Clean with a damp cloth to remove surface dirt and let it air dry. To restore its natural shine and smooth out superficial scratches, rub gently with your fingers or a soft cotton cloth using a bit of colorless leather conditioner or mink oil. Avoid soaking in water.
- Vaquetilla (Vegetable Tanned): Hydrate it 1 or 2 times a year with natural balms or specific colorless leather cream. Avoid direct contact with water and heat sources.
- Nappa (Smooth Leather): Wipe away dust with a dry cotton cloth. Do not use baby wipes, alcohol, or chemicals.
- Split Suede (Velvety Finish): Always dry clean with a soft bristle brush. We recommend applying a waterproofing spray before the first use.
